Safentry ("we", "our", "us") is a browser extension and accompanying website that analyzes trading orders in real time to help traders manage risk. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Website usage and diagnostics: We use Vercel Analytics and PostHog to understand product usage and diagnose errors. Depending on your activity, these services may process page views, referrers, browser and device information, product interactions, and error details. Google Tag Manager is used to load and manage configured analytics tags. For signed-in users, product events may be associated with the account's user ID and email address.
Accounts and communications: When you create an account or contact us, we may store your email address, authentication identifiers, risk settings, email preferences, subscription entitlement, rewards and referral activity, feedback, and contact or waitlist submissions.
Waitlist submissions: When you join the waitlist, we may store your email address together with the public EVM wallet address you choose to paste into the form. To send the verification link, we create an unconfirmed passwordless identity; it is activated as a waitlist account only after you verify your email. We may also store your referral relationships, point activity, and the X or Discord handles you choose to submit for self-reported bonus tasks. We use this information to manage your waitlist participation, referrals, rewards, and relevant Safentry updates. Social handles may be edited and are not verified as belonging to you. We do not ask for or collect a private key, seed phrase, or wallet signature for this signup, and submitting an address does not verify that you own or control it.
Extension and cloud sync: Risk checks run locally in the extension. Signed-in accounts sync risk settings. Pro accounts also sync warning and trade-history records to power cross-device history, analytics, and reports. Those records can include the platform, symbol, direction, order type, position size or estimated notional, leverage, risk score, triggered warning identifiers, your decision, and timestamp. Safentry does not require exchange API keys and does not upload account balances.
Billing: Stripe and NowPayments process card and cryptocurrency payments. Safentry stores the billing identifiers and transaction details needed to manage access, such as payment status, amount, and currency. We do not store full payment-card details or cryptocurrency wallet private keys.
We use collected data to:
Safentry uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, product preferences, dismissed announcements, and analytics. PostHog uses local storage and cookies when it is enabled. Google Tag Manager may load additional configured analytics tags. Blocking required storage may affect sign-in or other account features.
We do not sell trading data or use it for advertising. We use service providers to run Safentry, including Vercel for hosting and analytics, Supabase for authentication and database services, PostHog for product analytics and error monitoring, Google Tag Manager for analytics-tag management, Stripe and NowPayments for payments, and Resend for email delivery. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services under their own terms and privacy policies.
We retain account and service data while your account is active and as needed to provide Safentry. You can delete your account from the dashboard. Some billing, security, or transaction records may be retained when reasonably necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Unverified waitlist submissions may be deleted after 30 days. Verified waitlist account, referral, task, and point records are retained while needed to run the waitlist and related communications; you may request deletion using the contact details below.
The dashboard provides tools to export your account data and delete your account. You may also request access, correction, or deletion by contacting privacy@safentry.app.
We use authentication, access controls, and other technical and organizational measures intended to protect stored data. No system can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate product or account channel. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
